Before there were babies, before there were companies, before there was Beausworld — there were three French Bulldogs.
They were the first children my husband James and I ever had. The core of our family. The reason we ever felt at home in a room. This is their corner of Beausworld — for the dogs themselves, not for anything we built around them.
French was our soulmate. He passed on May 5th, 2026, and we are not done crying about him yet. He was a magical being. The kindest soul. Deeper than any dog has the right to be. Some loves don’t follow you out of the room. They stay.
We call him Finn Dog. We named our son after him. He’s the police officer of the house — the guard dog. He takes his job very seriously.
Miss Congeniality. The life of the party. Miss Popular.
We were so blessed to have these three. They taught us love before we knew what we were doing.
